First rate cage - very easy to put together and extremely solid. Certainly a good size for long journeys, though our African Grey did take about a week to get comfortable and come to terms with the fact that the only way out, was when we opened the door. Would recommend you give yourself time to let your bird settle in before travelling, to minimise the stress. And yes, it is a pricey cage but if you want something that your bird won't wreck, that's easy build and that won't give you a double hernia when moving it around, this is the way to go!
